Prices per course

You pay a fee for each course when you submit it. It covers the review and the course's first year, and approving you as a provider happens with your first course, at no extra cost. After that, each course renews on the anniversary of its approval.

Price per course
First yearYearly renewalMonthly renewal
Courses 1 to 3£175£85£8.50
Courses 4 to 15£150£70£7
Courses 16 and up£125£60£6

We're not VAT registered, so there's no VAT to add. If that changes, we'll tell you straight away and explain what it means for your fees.

Prices work like tax bands. Your first three courses cost £175 each, your 4th to 15th cost £150 each, and every course from your 16th costs £125. Adding a course never changes what you pay for the ones you already have.

Work out your cost

Choose how many courses you'd like accredited and how you'd like to pay renewals.

For example, five courses cost £825 in the first year (three at £175 and two at £150), then £395 a year or £39.50 a month to renew.

Plans

Your plan follows how many courses you have accredited. The only differences are how quickly we decide and, on Academy, a named contact.

Trainer

1 to 3 courses

A decision within 10 working days.

Provider

4 to 15 courses

A decision within 5 working days.

Academy

16 or more courses, or an in-house training team

A decision within 5 working days, and a named contact for your account.

You move up a plan automatically when you add a course. Whichever plan you're on, you're a CareCPD approved provider. Review times count from when we have everything we need.

What every plan includes

  • A review against the eight criteria in the CareCPD standard, with reasons for the decision
  • One free resubmission within 60 days if a course isn't approved first time
  • The CareCPD seal for approved courses
  • A listing in our directory of approved providers
  • Unlimited certificates, each with a code anyone can verify in seconds
  • An annual review of each course, included in its renewal
  • Guidance from a team that works only in care

Paying and refunds

When do we pay?

You pay each course's fee upfront when you submit it. Its first renewal is due a year after it's approved.

Can we pay monthly?

Yes, for renewals. It's one Direct Debit for all your courses, and you can stop it whenever you like. Paying yearly works out at two months free.

What if a course isn't approved?

You'll get the reasons, and you can resubmit once, free, within 60 days. If the course still isn't approved, or you decide not to resubmit, we refund its fee in full. We'll also refund you in full if you withdraw a course before we start reviewing it.

What happens if we stop paying for a course?

Its accreditation ends when the period you've paid for runs out, and you can't issue new certificates for it after that. Certificates you've already issued stay valid. If a Direct Debit payment fails, we'll get in touch and give you 14 days to sort it out first.
